Walks, Silly Boys and Growing

Sunday afternoon we decided to head up to the canyon and take one of our favorite walks.

We didn't get very far.

Even though it has been 80 degrees down in the valley most of the week.

The mountain weren't quite there yet.

Some of us were under dressed.

Seriously, I can only say "It's probably going to be a lot colder in the mountains then it is here. There will be snow." about 10 times before I decide no one really cares about my opinion anyway.

But it was a beautiful day.

We took some pictures.... tried to anyway.

We have a kid who has decided that he needs to be a goof-off in every single one.

*sigh*

Here the boys are, standing on the lake. 

Maybe we will come back in oh.... August. By then it should have thawed out ;-)

On another note, happy little green things are coming up in the garden.

And most of them aren't weeds.

So far, we have peas, carrots, beets, spinach and potatoes poking out of the ground.

This weekend we'll plant our tomatoes, peppers and squash.
